This year Poppy was able to understand Halloween a little better. He enjoyed the people watching as much as he did getting to go to each door and getting to say "Trick or Treat!" and "Thank you!". He really is not into the candy as much. He does have a huge sweet tooth, but isnt really aware of what candy is all about. We set aside the chocolate bars for him and they have been huge motivators in the potty training process. Skittles were a favorite as well.
He was a cowboy this year. I kept asking him what he wanted to be and he never really had an opinion so I chose between a cowboy or an indian. He loves to wear hats and had a favorite cowboy hat already, so we went with a cowboy costume. We were able to join Lucas and William in William's neighborhood for Trick or Treating. JL was pretty enthralled with the blow up witch in one yard and a huge skeleton in another yard.
A few days earlier we did some Trick or Treating on the square. The pictures I took on the square are some of my favorite! Enjoy!
