Allergy Testing

 Poppy had allergy testing on Thursday and it came up  slight on wheat (not enough for her to be concerned) and he is allergic to maple trees and pig weed. Our yard is full of pig weed as is Arkansas in general and it comes in several forms. We just planted a Maple tree a few months ago....lovely right? heheheh, that can be changed.

Since he is only 2, and is having year around allergies/ asthma attacks/ general health issues, she did not feel like this was a good profile for him. She wants to see us back in the fall. In the mean time we are to document flare ups/illnesses/reactions, etc and keep him on organic food. In the fall, based on what is going on, she may want to do allergy testing again (more specific), recommend it again at age 3 or draw blood to look at immune issues. She suspects something else, but cant put her finger on it right now.

While we were there she said one of his tubes was about to fall out.  Just three weeks ago they were both in and in great condition.  I am nervous about that since it is going to be fall/winter and that is when he flaresup the worst.  But, on the bright side, its not out yet, and if it falls out then we dont have to have it surgically removed at age 2.5 months.  yay!

We did not get the answers we wanted, but it isnt our time to get them yet.  Right now, God has blessed us with a great new medication that seems to really be helping with his allergies.  We have not been sick in three weeks.  This is remarkable for us.  They hand make the medicine by following a very speicific recipe.  He is doing very well with it and life is good!
