We spent the weekend at the cabin this past weekend. It was nice to get away for a bit. JL enjoyed being outside and was able to run free. He especially enjoyed the steps on our deck. You would think he would wear himself out...but no....not a chance :)
We arrived Friday night only to find out we didnt have water. We arrived late so it wasnt really a big deal. Basically one of our well pipes was frozen and had thawed out by noon on Saturday. A plumber is there today (Monday) working on the leak. Greg and his dad built a new well house as well so hopefully this wont happen next winter.
Saturday we all hung out, ate TAco soup, and relaxed. I got caught up on reading Anna Karinina....I can hardly put it down. Its on my KINDLE and I am loving being able to carry 4 books around at once!
John Lleyton is pretty enamored with all of the ducks at the cabin. He felt the need to have all of them in one place and tried to feed and hydrate all of them!
Jl also enjoyed making cornbread with Oma.
